Skinning

The entire look and feel of the platform can be customized and skinned towards a required brand identity. The design can be tweaked to create small, medium, and large versions that will be correctly displayable on a variety of mobile device screen sizes. Furthermore, custom tweaks can be included for particular devices for added effect (such as a special Apple iPhone version).

Categories and sub-categories

Categories and sub-categories can be created, and content items can be linked to one or several categories. Each category and sub-category page can be customised according to a loo and feel, allowing categories to become distinct areas of focus.

User account

If MSISDN is activated (see MSISDN detection), then every user can be automatically ‘registered’ on the site by accessing it. If MSISDN is not active or the service is unable to pick up the user’s mobile number, then they are asked to validate their number by receiving an SMS and clicking on a unique link.

Banner advertising

If required, the service can integrate with any mobile advertising network to display banner ads. Custom tags can be placed on any particular page or section.

Search

Search functionality allows users to search for content items based on keywords.

Administration

A web-based control panel allows administrators to create categories, upload content, feature items, view delivery and billing reports, and more.

SMS/Texting integration

The service can be integrated with an SMS service to send SMS messages to users regarding account activations, friend forwarding, and subscription notifications.

Mobile compliance

The platform is compliant with international mobile billing standards and codes of conduct.
